Christian Gideon is a Missouri-based wedding and portrait photography phenomenon with world-wide acclaim and an ever-growing following. I was contracted to photograph Christian as part of an ongoing project in which clients of Hudson Hawk - a fast growing barbershop company with multiple locations across the midwest - are interviewed discussing their passions, hobbies and providing tips on living, working and thriving in the midwest. I met up with Christian in his city-centre loft and photographed him admits his work, life and hair supplies, as we discussed how we both grow our businesses, face the struggles of doing so outside of the coastal cities and what his upcoming work and growth looks like. The images to follow are the culmination of that photoshoot and conversation.
